The second of our "cortijos" in the campo is Zambra. Contrary to the ancient rule for architecture in
Andalucia, saying that every room must have its own roof, Zambra has one roof for all rooms.
The origin of this kind of structure is the "one room hut" in which the farmer, working in the fields, stayed.
The "hut" Zambra has mutated to a very comfortable, rural house,
about 1.5 km from the village.
The house is providing:
- a comfortable, cosy living room with a wood-heated oven and a well equipped integrated kitchen
- 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
- modern multimedia equipment (Sat TV, Hi – FI Stereo,DVD)
- a terrace with a fantastic view to the sea and the surrounding hills and mountains,
the sun shines on the terrace from early morning until sunset.
